When you volunteer at The Ridge, you become part of our Dream Team: people who've found their gifts and are putting them to use. Whether that's creating a welcoming environment on the Host Team, leading the next generation on the
Student or
Ridge Kids Team, shaping the service experience, or leading a
Small Group. This is what it looks like to be the church, not just show up to it.
Where You Can Serve
- Host Team: Parking lot, coffee bar, greeting people at the door. The first face someone sees.
- Ridge Kids Team: Leading the next generation, Sunday mornings.
- Student Team: Investing in students, Sundays and midweek.
- Service Experience: Sound, media, and everything that shapes what people see and hear on a Sunday.
- Small Groups: Leading or co-leading a group of your own.

Yes, for everyone's safety, we require a background check before you can serve on a team.
Do I need experience to join a team?
Nope! You'll be trained and paired with someone who's done it before.
How much time does it take?
Depends on the team. We'll talk through what actually fits your schedule before you commit to anything.
Can I try a team before committing?
Yes, show up and see what it's like from that team's side before you commit to anything. Nobody's asking you to sign up for life.
Can I switch teams later if it's not a good fit?
Yes, reach out and we'll help you find a better fit. Nobody's locked in.
