We believe we can’t be what God has called us to be if we live in a masquerade. Whether it’s what happens on stage, within our smaller communities, in serving teams or in our homes, we need to be able to share our faults and weaknesses. Often times, it's our vulnerability that allows us to connect with others. That’s authenticity, just being REAL.

We don’t expect anyone who walks into The Ridge to be a committed Christ-follower, but we do expect everyone who is around our community for any length of time to be growing. We expect every person to be moving closer to reflecting the complete image of Christ in every area of life. This is our STRIVE. The Ridge is a safe place for everyone. But safe doesn’t mean comfortable. The answers aren’t always comfortable. In fact, we often grow only when we are pushed out of our comfort zone. (From Colossians 1:10 in the Bible)
We aren’t interested in being a place where a lot of people get together for an inspiring service but never move beyond the casual, arm’s distance relationships of an auditorium. We want to grow by really “doing life together.” People who grow in their relationship with God also grow in their friendships with each other, moving beyond the Sunday morning and into Community Groups. Real COMMUNITY is knowing and being known, loving and being loved, celebrating and being celebrated, serving and being served. (From Hebrews 10:24-25 in the Bible)
Living a life of Generosity is at the heart of God. After all, "God so loved the world that He GAVE...". Our giving is a by-product of our love, its a natural instinct when we put others first. Now, remove the money symbols from your mind. Generosity goes way beyond money and into every area of our lives. We can be GENEROUS with our time, our abilities, our encouragement, our love and just about every area we can think of. A GENEROUS life is a hallmark of our faith in Christ
Our faith isnt just contained on Sundays. Followers of Christ put action behind their passion. God always intended us to be on a mission, reaching out to people, praying for those hurting, inviting others to join in the journey. All too often, Sunday's are seen as the finish line rather than the starting block. We believe Christ followers are always looking for opportunities and open doors to be ACTIVE with their faith.
We're located right in the heart of The Woodlands between Gosling & Kuykendahl. If you've ever been to Falconwing Park, you've pretty much been in our back yard.
